We always have a little display of handouts for art-related local events at the Alex. If you want some Warwickshire Open Studios Summer Art Weeks brochures we have a large number and they are great little directories about the 100+ venues across Warwickshire that take part. Come and collect a copy (or take more than one and give to friends).
We will of course be Venue 50 – with seven artists working here across all three weekends of Summer Art Weeks. We will also have artist-demonstrators here as part of the Love Rugby festival. NOT ONLY AT THE ALEX: Note that other local artists and many Alex regulars can be seen at Dunchurch (20 artists at VENUE 50, in a gorgeous garden setting), VENUE 48 is in Cawston (Eric Gaskell), RAGM is VENUE 49 (five artists in Floor One gallery including Carol Wheeler) and new to WOS Lisa Shenston (aka Colourful Outlook) at Coton Fields (VENUE 51). Dot and Geoff Crowe are showing work at Barby once more (VENUE 53). So once again 40+ artists are taking part locally.
