From batik and botanical printmaking to weaving and machine knitting, from embroidery and dyeing to spinning and crochet. We cover a lot of different textile techniques in our March show, some obviously traditional, some experimental and edgey. But together we share a love of creating using fabric, yarn and thread. Its a thread that links us!
On each day of this exhibition (open Thus-Sat, 11-4 from 5-28 March we plan to have textile artists demonstrating and talking about their craft throughout the day. Stewards are also artists with work in the exhibition and may be bringing the tools of their trade along to play with while minding the exhibition. Lots of reasons to visit more than once.

Thank you to Cllr Brown for opening our show on Wednesday 4th. We loved her entry in the visitor’s book. When asked ‘what is the reason for your visit’ she responded: ‘I am the Mayor, but I would come anyway!’
