WHO’S RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS MADDNESS?
The Rugby Yarn Bombers and the Free For All Community Interest Company have joined forces to bring you Spring Fever, a free, family-friendly Easter trail packed with whimsy, woolly characters, lost eggs, and more than a whiff of romantic intrigue.

WHAT IS THE STORY BEHIND THIS?
Running from 28th March to 11th April 2025, Spring Fever invites families, shoppers, and the simply curious to follow the trail of the ever-popular Mr March Hare as he dashes around Rugby on the most important mission of his life. You see, the Easter Rabbit has been away all winter, keeping warm somewhere considerably sunnier than Warwickshire, and she left her devoted boyfriend, the March Hare, in charge of her precious collection of prize magic eggs.

He was doing so well. And then…he lost them.

THE STORY SO FAR…

When the Easter Rabbit finally returned to Rugby, ready to spread springtime sunshine and cheer across the town, she sat down with the Hare for tea and cake, and discovered that more than half her eggs had vanished. The March Hare, surprised, confused, and more than a little sheepish, rushed out into the street to investigate. And there, in the distance, cackling with mischief? The naughtiest White Rabbit in town.

Can YOU help the March Hare find the missing eggs before it’s too late?

FOLLOW THE TRAIL, SOLVE THE PUZZLE, WIN PRIZES!

Participants are invited to follow the March Hare’s journey through Rugby town centre, retracing his steps as he visited local businesses, from planning a rather fine breakfast at Chicco di Caffรจ and an eye test at Gray Opticians, to admiring a very sparkly ring at Hills Goldsmiths and getting fitted for a dashing suit at Salters. Along the way, he encountered the Amazing Hedgehog Clan (freshly emerged from hibernation and queuing up to get their spines straightened at the Chirohub), browsed love nests at Brown and Cockerill, and was stopped in his tracks by a cake of “breathtaking splendour” at The Brownie Addict.

He also visited Scallywags, SASS, Stella Interiors, Jean’s Flowers, Wild and Free, and finished, suit pressed, ring in pocket, at 7th Heaven where the missing eggs were noticed.

Trail maps are available from Wild and Free, 6 Bank Street, Rugby CV21 2QE, and from all participating venues.

THE CAST, STARRING …
