Come along to two free workshops at Art at the Alex over Halloween. These are drop in (between 1-3pm) activities led by local artists Jenny Ball and Sam Basnett. Suitable for adults or children 7+ you can learn how to make a Day of the Dead styled ghostly ornament with Jenny (31st October 1-3) or an articulated skeleton with Sam Basnett (1st November 1-3).
This event is sponsored by Ruby First – look out for other Rugby First activities including the yarnbombed Ghost Train (1-2nd November), in High Street area of town. Perhaps take your ornaments on a ride on the train once they are finished!
The free workshops are suitable for adults and accompanied children under 7. If you are looking for a child-focused event (ages 7-12) then there is a bookable workshop by artist Jessi Illustrates (Jessica Hartshorn) on the 30th November. Contact Jessica to book please. Details below.
