Each October we encourage local artists and makers to show work on the theme of The Rugby Town (2023), Rugby: Town and Country (2024) and this year its Rugby and other lovely places. Prepare for work which is showing and influenced by the place you know well, and places which you may not recognize.
Lots of variety and one of our faves is the fig bowl by Belinda Edwards which was made here at her studio at the Alex and based on a fig leaf from the tree in the garden. How’s that for local art?
The exhibition will run from 2-25 October, so overlapping with the Rugby Literary Festival (we have events here for this from 2-5 October).
