Thank you to all the generous artists who donated works of art to the Alex Art Draw that we ran in December. Proceeds will be put towards setting up and running the Art at the Alex CIO (charity) and we are delighted with the £460 raised. At such short notice and with this being the first time we were expecting far less. So yes, we hope to make this an annual event. Look out for it at end of this year if you missed out this time. And if you have not yet collected your prize you can do so after we re-open on the 12 Feb, or drop us an email to arrange a time to collect earlier.
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
Well you buy a ticket (max two tickets per buyer) and will be allocated a number. Every ticket sold (£10) guarantees a prize of worth at least £10 (and often considerably more than that). The tickets and winners are then matched randomly with prizes at the end of the draw period. Which was one week before we closed, allowing almost all people to collect before Christmas.
